Ahmad's tales.
Short story of a Syrian refugee I met in Lebanon.

The use of postcards is directly linked to their power to capture a moment and stop it in time, making it perpetual.
The left side contains drawings and a poem he did based on one question I asked him,
“What does home look like to you ?”.
Leaving the stamp and the address area empty is directly linked to the feeling of not belonging anywhere.

I met Ahmad when he was an 11-year-old boy who fled the war in Syria to survive.
Ahmad’s Journey is a story, a book, postcards, a map, a journey, an experience, a memory in time, an undefined feeling. When it comes to raising awareness and tackling sensitive subjects, there will always be unfinished business because there is probably more to be said and done.
